FCC Examining Level 3-Comcast Net Neutrality Row

Law360, New York (November 30, 2010, 7:04 PM EST) -- The Federal Communications Commission is looking into a complaint from Level 3 Communications LLC that Comcast Corp. has imposed a fee on the Internet network operator to transmit movies and other data online in violation of the agency's proposed network neutrality principles, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said Tuesday amid an escalating public row between the two telecommunications giants.

Following Tuesday's open FCC meeting, Genachowski declined to comment on the allegations Level 3 made public Monday but confirmed that the agency is definitely examining the company's concerns....
