3M, Funai, Others Hit With False Marking Suits

Law360, New York (December 01, 2010, 2:52 PM ET) -- 3M Co., Texas Instruments Inc., Funai Corp. Inc. and Uniden America Corp. have been hit with lawsuits alleging they marked products ranging from DVD recorders to thermometers with expired patents.

The companies are Kilts Resources LLC's latest targets in false marking litigation, with a round of complaints filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
