Alliant Sues Subcontractor Over Faulty Laser Rods

Law360, New York (December 02, 2010, 5:25 PM ET) -- Alliant Techsystems Inc. has accused subcontractor VLOC Inc. of providing faulty batches of laser rods the plaintiff needed to manufacture cockpit safety devices for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Alliant filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, claiming that VLOC began providing defective laser rods in 2007 after changing its manufacturing processes without first informing the plaintiff.
