Law360, New York (December 03, 2010, 4:11 PM ET) -- A federal judge has declined to dismiss a putative class action brought by two American auto parts distributors who claim Taiwanese manufacturers conspired to overcharge them and force competitors out of the industry.
The defendants failed to prove either that the U.S. court lacked jurisdiction in the case or that the distributors had no reasonable chance of proving the price-fixing conspiracy, according to Tuesday’s ruling from Judge Lynn Adelman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
