GP Wants NCR To Pay For Mich. Superfund Site

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 4:48 PM EST) -- Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP has targeted NCR Corp. and International Paper Co. in a suit seeking contributions for the cleanup of the Kalamazoo River Superfund site in southwestern Michigan, which has cost Georgia-Pacific $79 million to date.

In a suit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Georgia Pacific claims that NCR and International Paper produced carbonless copy paper that contributed to the pollution of the site with polychlorinated biphenyls.
