AntiCancer Sues Cellsight Over Tumor Detection IP

Law360, New York (December 13, 2010, 3:09 PM EST) -- Pioneering research outfit AntiCancer Inc. is alleging rival Cellsight Technologies Inc. has infringed patents on the use of fluorescence to track tumors and violated California competition law.

San Diego-based AntiCancer filed a complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, claiming that San Francisco-based Cellsight copied AntiCancer's patented technology, which uses fluorescence to track the growth of tumors in live animals.
