Law360, New York (December 10, 2010, 1:52 PM ET) -- Investment firm North Castle Partners said Friday it had sold off Atkins Nutritional Holdings Inc., creator of the low-carb diet program, to private equity firm Roark Capital Group for an undisclosed sum.
North Castle, which focuses its investments in small companies in the health and wellness sector, did not disclose the terms of the transaction.
