Judge's Order Muddies Crestron Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (December 10, 2010, 12:09 PM EST) -- A federal judge has denied Crestron Electronics Inc.'s motion to dismiss Savant Systems LLC's complaint alleging Crestron cornered the market for programmable controllers used in home automation, but it was not immediately clear what the effect of the ruling would be.

Senior Judge Edward F. Harrington of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued an electronic order Thursday saying he would “revisit the issues raised herein by way of motion for summary judgment at the close of discovery."
