Galderma Offers $978M For Sweden's Q-Med

Law360, New York (December 13, 2010, 5:43 PM EST) -- Skin care company Galderma Pharma SA, a Nestle SA and L'Oreal joint venture, has offered roughly 6.69 billion Swedish kronor ($978 million) for Swedish implant maker Q-Med AB.

The tender offer, announced Monday, would give most Q-Med shareholders 75 kronor per share. Lyftet Holding BV, the company's main shareholder, represented by Q-Med founder and CEO Bengt Agerup, would receive 58.94 kronor in cash per share, though Lyftet could receive as much as 74.96 kronor per share under certain conditions.
