Senate Revamps Federal Acquisitions Worker Training

Law360, New York (December 14, 2010, 1:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate has approved a measure bolstering the federal acquisition work force by revising and streamlining the mission, management and monetary resources of the Federal Acquisition Institute, where government contracting officers are trained and certified.

The Federal Acquisition Institute Act of 2010, or S.2902, was unanimously passed Monday in the Senate.
