Senate Unveils $1.1T Omnibus Spending Bill

Law360, New York (December 15, 2010, 3:31 PM EST) -- Senate appropriators have released a $1.1 trillion omnibus bill to pay for government operations through fiscal year 2011, proposing to reshuffle more than $667 billion in military budgetary authority while funding newly passed legislative priorities including health care, food safety and financial regulatory reform.

Members of the Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday released their FY 2011 Consolidated Appropriations Act, a substitute amendment to H.R. 3082, a continuing spending resolution the U.S. House of Representatives narrowly approved last week, 212-206.
