Feds Charge 4 Consultants In Insider Trading Probe

Law360, New York (December 16, 2010, 2:35 PM EST) -- Federal investigators have charged four people with conspiracy and fraud for allegedly selling their employers' inside information under the guise of expert consulting work.

James Fleishman, Mark Anthony Longoria, Walter Shimoon and Manosha Karunatilaka, who all worked for an unnamed expert-networking firm, were arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of wire fraud and single counts of conspiracy to commit wire and securities fraud, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara announced.
