AT&T Settles Call Center Workers’ FLSA Action

Law360, New York (December 17, 2010, 6:28 PM EST) -- AT&T Corp. has resolved a collective action brought by call center workers who accused the telecommunications giant of failing to compensate them for performing certain duties off the clock.

Magistrate Judge Robert Mitchell of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Thursday ordered the dismissal of the wage-and-hour action without attorneys’ fees or costs in light of an earlier settlement deal reached between the parties.
