2nd Circ. Bars Priceline From $336M Class Deal

Law360, New York (December 17, 2010, 5:56 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has rejected Priceline.com Inc.'s attempt to get a cut of a $336 million class action settlement in an antitrust case accusing the nation's largest credit card companies of colluding to levy fixed currency conversion fees.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issued an order Thursday affirming a lower court ruling from October 2009 that excluded Priceline from participating in the settlement even though it paid the fees at issue.
