Ex-Enron Lawyers Targeted By SEC Suit

Law360, New York (March 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former in-house attorneys of now-defunct Enron Corp. participated in the massive accounting fraud at the energy company by intentionally omitting transactions from financial statements, according to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The SEC on Wednesday filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas against Jordan H. Mintz, the one-time General Counsel of Enron's global finance group and Rex R. Rogers, a former Enron vice president and associate general counsel.
