Cuervo Slams Maker's In 6th Circ. Wax Seal Fight

Law360, New York (December 20, 2010, 2:58 PM ET) -- Jose Cuervo International Inc. has hit back at Maker’s Mark International Distillery Inc. in its appeal of the whiskey maker’s trademark win over a wax seal, saying “it would not make sense for Cuervo to try to associate its luxury tequila product with a lesser known and less expensive bourbon brand such as Maker’s Mark.”
