Insurer Wants Off Hook For Lubrizol Cleanup

Law360, New York (December 21, 2010, 8:23 PM EST) -- Arrowood Indemnity Co. has launched a suit against Lubrizol Corp. claiming it should not be held liable for coverage of cleanup costs at a Texas Superfund site, including $2.4 million in expenses already incurred, because the contamination does not constitute an occurrence under an insurance policy.
