SAP Did Not Directly Infringe Versata Patent: Judge

Law360, New York (December 22, 2010, 4:49 PM EST) -- A federal judge has denied SAP AG's request to invalidate two Versata Software Inc. patents for product pricing programs due to inequitable conduct, but held that the defendant did not directly infringe one of the patents, which could affect a $139 million jury award in the case.
