Fla. Trio Gets Probation In Oil Pollution Case

Law360, New York (December 22, 2010, 2:11 PM EST) -- A federal judge has sentenced three men to probation in a conspiracy case that charged the trio with failing to maintain proper records for a Florida cargo ship that was leaking oil into the ocean.

Judge William P. Dimitrouleas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida sentenced Hugo Pena to five years probation on Monday, and gave three years of probation each to Northon Eraso and Ronald Ramon.
