Paul Hastings Reps Jacobs In $913M Aker Asset Buy

Law360, New York (December 22, 2010, 3:28 PM EST) -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Wednesday it would would buy process and construction operations owned by Norway's Aker Solutions ASA in a $913 million deal designed to expand the California engineering and construction giant's global presence in the mining and metals market.

The total transaction value is estimated at NOK 5.5 billion ($913 million) subject to closing adjustments, Aker Solutions said, with Jacobs noting it would pay $675 million in cash and assume debt.
