Apple, Nokia Face Patent Suit Over Smartphones

Law360, New York (December 23, 2010, 5:29 PM EST) -- A Texas patent-holding company has filed a patent infringement suit over the double-clicking technology used in the iPhone, the Palm Pre and other popular mobile devices made by Apple Inc., Palm Inc., Nokia Corp., HTC America Inc. and a half-dozen others.

Plano, Texas-based Hopewell Culture & Design LLC lodged its complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
