Cruise Line Workers Denied Class Cert. In Wage Suit

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 2:37 PM EST) -- A federal judge has sunk a bid to certify a class of cruise ship workers accusing NCL (Bahamas) Ltd. of cutting into their wages by giving them so much work they had to pay others to help them complete it.

Judge Adablerto Jordan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida signed an order dated Friday that adopted a magistrate judge's report and recommendations and denied class certification to roughly 500 stewards and attendants.
