Obama Inks Bill To Improve Agency Efficiency

Law360, New York (January 5, 2011, 1:10 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama has signed off on legislation designed to improve federal agencies' operations by identifying and eliminating redundant programs and charting a measurable, transparent course to achieve high-priority performance goals.

The Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010 was among 35 bills signed into law Tuesday by the president, clearing the slate of bills passed by the 111th Congress in its final days.
