Minn. Car Dealer Settles Antitrust Suit Against Kia

Law360, New York (January 6, 2011, 5:41 PM EST) -- A Minnesota Kia dealership has agreed to settle a lawsuit accusing Kia Motors of America Inc. of violating antitrust law by distributing dealer advertising money unevenly.

Barnett Kia and KMA on Wednesday asked Judge Ann D. Montgomery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota to end the case with prejudice. Judge Montgomery ordered the case closed the same day.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, according to Barnett's attorney, Michael Dady of Dady & Gardner PA.
