GE Takes Fight Over EPA Power To Supreme Court

Law360, New York (January 06, 2011, 6:56 PM ET) -- General Electric Co. is looking to the nation's highest court to revive a due process challenge of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's authority to unilaterally order potentially responsible parties to clean up polluted sites.

GE filed its petition for a writ of certiorari — dated Dec. 29 but docketed Wednesday — with the U.S. Supreme Court, challenging a June 29 appeals court decision.
