Samsung, Others Hit With Suit Over Chip Patents

Law360, New York (January 07, 2011, 2:44 PM ET) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and a slew of other technology companies have been slapped with an infringement suit accusing them of encroaching on patents covering wireless chip technology.

Eric M. Albritton of the Albritton Law Firm lodged a first amended complaint on behalf of Azure Networks LLC and the Tri-County Excelsior Foundation in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Thursday, alleging that Samsung and the other defendants have infringed U.S. Patent Numbers 7,218,633 and 7,386,003.
