Hogan & Hartson's IP Group Takes Cross-Disciplinary Approach

Law360, New York (September 16, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A case involving the Vatican, ancient art works and a forged 45-year-old license agreement recently took Hogan & Hartson LLP’s intellectual property litigators into legal territory no law school could have prepared them for.

Hogan & Hartson litigators, who are representing the Holy See in a dispute with Bangkok Crafts Corporation and its supposed sublicensees, found themselves in the middle of a licensing conflict that seemed more like something out of a movie plot than an ordinary piece of litigation.
