House Advances Health Care Repeal Vote

Law360, New York (January 7, 2011, 3:00 PM EST) -- Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives scored a key procedural victory Friday as they move forward with a vote on legislation that would repeal the entire health care reform law, even as a veto threat looms.

House members voted 236-181 to adopt H.Res 26, a rules package that sets up a vote on Jan. 12 for H.R. 2, the Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act.
