Fed. Circ. Nixes Infringement Ruling Against Fujifilm

Law360, New York (January 10, 2011, 3:39 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Monday cleared Fujifilm Corp. of infringement in a patent suit over digital cameras, reversing a lower court judgment in favor of patent-holder St. Clair Intellectual Property Consultants Inc.

In a 2-to-1 ruling, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit found that the lower court had misconstrued the patent claims and reversed the judgment of infringement against Fujifilm and related entities.
