GAO Shoots Down Animal Control Bid Protest

Law360, New York (January 11, 2011, 6:46 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied the bid protest of a company over a U.S. Air Force contract for a bird and wildlife control program, finding that the agency properly evaluated the past performance of the eventual winner.

In Monday's decision denying Flyaway Farm and Kennels' protest, the GAO ruled that the Air Force had reasonably evaluated Birdstrike Control Program Inc.'s past performance in accordance with the solicitation for services at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
