Gibson Hits 'Power Gig' Maker With Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 20, 2011, 2:11 PM EST) -- Gibson Guitar Corp. has filed suit over Seven45 Studios' video game "Power Gig: Rise of the SixString," alleging infringement of a concert simulation patent.

Nashville-based Gibson filed its complaint against 745 LLC in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on Wednesday, asserting U.S. Patent Number 5,990,405, titled "System and method for generating and controlling a simulated musical concert experience."
