1st Cases Tossed In Dollar General Managers' OT MDL

Law360, New York (January 20, 2011, 7:29 PM ET) -- The judge overseeing assistant managers' lawsuits alleging Dollar General owner Dolgencorp Inc. violated federal labor law issued the first two summary judgment rulings in the consolidated cases Thursday, saying the plaintiffs' testimony showed they were correctly exempted from overtime pay.

Plaintiffs Brenda Ravas-Houllion and Annette Rogers-Andrews' testimony makes it clear they are not entitled to overtime pay, according to Judge W. Earl Britt's ruling in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
