Verizon Takes Net Neutrality Fight To DC Circ.

Law360, New York (January 20, 2011, 7:28 PM ET) -- Verizon Communications Inc. on Thursday challenged the net neutrality rules that the Federal Communications Commission adopted in December, telling the D.C. Circuit that the FCC had strayed beyond the bounds of its statutory authority.

Verizon filed a notice of appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, taking issue with a report and an order the FCC adopted last month that included rules prohibiting Internet providers from discriminating against Web traffic and content.
