Montblanc Sues A.T. Cross Over Trademark For Pen Designs

Law360, New York (September 20, 2004, 12:00 AM ET) -- Luxury pen maker Montblanc North America LLC has sued rival A.T. Cross Co. for alleged trademark infringement and false advertising.

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern district of New York, accuses Cross of selling ink refills packaged in a way that "makes prominent and multiple use of the Montblanc trademark," giving consumers the false notion that the refills were made by or endorsed by Montblanc.
