Fenwick Reps Cisco In Network Security Co. Buy

Law360, New York (January 27, 2011, 1:55 PM ET) -- Cisco Systems Inc. has agreed to buy network security company Pari Networks Inc. in a bid to add software management offerings to the network hardware products it already sells.

The San Jose, Calif.-based networking giant said Wednesday it planned to acquire the privately held Pari Networks in order to add to its current smart service products.

Cisco did not disclose the financial terms of the deal, which the companies plan to close in the third quarter of the year.
