Hoops Legend 'Big O' Joins NCAA Antitrust, IP Fight

Law360, New York (January 27, 2011, 6:42 PM EST) -- Basketball legend Oscar Robertson, a 12-time NBA all-star and 1960 Olympic gold medalist, has joined other athletes in a class action alleging the NCAA and Electronic Arts Inc. are conspiring to exploit their likenesses without fair compensation.

Robertson and two other former athletes filed their complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the same court where similar intellectual property and antitrust class actions are pending against the NCAA and EA.
