Law360, New York (February 01, 2011, 6:38 PM ET) -- Eight community health centers have sued the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources, alleging that the department's Bureau for Medical Services shortchanged them on Medicaid reimbursements in violation of federal law.
The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia on Jan. 26, alleges the BMS failed to adequately fund the health care facilities for treating Medicaid patients under the Benefits Improvement and Protection Act.
