Contractor Allowed To Recover On Auto-Owners Bond

Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 4:07 PM ET) -- The judge overseeing a battle over a contract to build four buildings at Florida's Pensacola Naval Air Station has rejected Auto-Owners Insurance Co.'s argument that prime contractor Dick Corp. could not recover on a payment bond issued by the insurer.

Judge M. Casey Rodgers of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida signed off on an order Friday denying Auto-Owners' bid for partial summary judgment.
