GOP Presses Obama To Stand Down On Becker

Law360, New York (February 03, 2011, 3:49 PM ET) -- All 47 Republican senators are calling on the White House to rescind its nomination of former union attorney Craig Becker to serve on the National Labor Relations Board, saying his interim appointment has made the panel more polarized.

Led by Sens. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., every Senate Republican signed onto a letter sent to President Barack Obama on Tuesday urging him, in strong language, to withdraw Becker's nomination and cooperate with Republicans on finding a consensus candidate.
