Law360, New York (February 04, 2011, 6:10 PM ET) -- Prosecutors asked a federal court on Friday to sentence Michael Scanlon, a key player in the Jack Abramoff lobbying conspiracy, to two years in prison.
Given his substantial contribution to their case against Abramoff and others, prosecutors recommended that Scanlon serve half the time he faced after pleading guilty to honest services fraud, mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit bribery, according to a sentencing memorandum filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
