GAO Nixes Protest Over Troop Food Supply Contract

Law360, New York (February 7, 2011, 6:44 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has shut down Intermarkets Global's dispute over corrective action taken on the company's earlier protest of a contract to supply food to U.S. troops in Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan.

In an opinion handed down Friday, the GAO determined that the U.S. Department of Defense's response to prior protests by KGL Food Services and Intermarkets Global over the award of the contract to Dubai's Anham FZCO was not implemented unreasonably.
