Law360, New York (February 08, 2011, 8:33 PM ET) -- Air Products and Chemicals Inc. on Tuesday completed its arguments to invalidate the poison pill thwarting its $5.9 billion hostile takeover of rival Airgas Inc., with a Delaware judge promising to rule on the matter in the next few days.
After initially indicating his decision could come Tuesday, Chancellor William B. Chandler said he wanted to avoid the appearance that he was making a “snap judgment” after attorneys for both sides presented their closing arguments in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
