Navy Engineer, Contractor Charged In $10M Scheme

Law360, New York (February 8, 2011, 7:20 PM EST) -- A U.S. Navy engineer and the president of a technology services company have each been hit with criminal charges for their alleged roles in an ongoing $10 million kickback scheme over Navy contracts.


Ralph Mariano and Anjan Dutta-Gupta were targeted in criminal complaints unsealed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island on Monday, U.S. Attorney Peter F. Neronha announced Tuesday.
