Investors Settle With Chinese Education Co. For $1.75M

Law360, New York (February 09, 2011, 4:01 PM ET) -- A class of investors whose case was once dismissed has charged back to settle for $1.75 million with a Chinese education technology company that plaintiffs say lied in regulatory filings connected with its initial public offering.

After filing a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement, the plaintiffs also withdrew a pending notice of appeal, according to records filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
