Law360, New York (February 09, 2011, 6:51 PM ET) -- Conservative U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is unlikely to give in to pressure from Democrats who penned a letter Wednesday asking him to recuse himself from any case challenging federal health care reform, experts say.
The letter, signed by Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., and 75 other Democratic House members, accused the justice of appearing to have a conflict of interest with the issue — which is widely expected to end up in the high court — because of his wife's lobbying work.
