Law360, New York (February 09, 2011, 7:48 PM ET) -- A bankruptcy judge has granted Chemtura Corp.'s request for mediation with its insurers and parties that have personal injury and indemnity claims against the chemical company related to a lawsuit over defective pool filters.
In a ruling Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Robert E. Gerber directed Pentair Water Pool and Spa Inc. and Kurt and Amy Stetler to try to resolve their claims with Chemtura through mediation.
