8 Insurers Denied Dismissal In Chinese Drywall MDL

Law360, New York (February 09, 2011, 7:45 PM ET) -- Eight insurers have failed in their bid to dismiss claims brought against them by homeowners in an ongoing multidistrict litigation over allegedly defective drywall manufactured in China.

In an order issued on Tuesday, Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana denied 10 motions from the insurers, which had argued that certain member cases should be dismissed for failing to join indispensable parties to the suits.
