DOD Raises Monetary Threshold For Contract Appeals

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 2:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense unveiled a proposed rule Friday that would increase the monetary thresholds for submitting and processing contract appeals before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.

The DOD said the new rule, when adopted, would adjust the dollar minimums associated with handling the appeals in order to keep pace with inflation and preserve the status quo.
