Quigley To Meet Deadline Or Face Asbestos Claims

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 5:12 PM EST) -- A federal judge has given bankrupt Pfizer Inc. subsidiary Quigley Co. Inc. a March 15 deadline to file a new restructuring plan or face efforts by asbestos claimants to throw out the more than 6-year-old case and proceed with lawsuits.

Judge Stuart M. Bernstein set that date on Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in response to complaints from a lawyer for certain tort victims who objected to the debtor's request to put off dismissal motions.
