IP Trade Group Asks USTR To Put Countries On Notice

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 5:29 PM EST) -- The International Intellectual Property Alliance suggested Tuesday that the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative place Spain, Ukraine, the Philippines, Vietnam, Costa Rica and many other countries on its Special 301 review priority watch list for 2011.

The IIPA's report, which documents online and physical piracy of copyrighted works in various countries, asked that the five countries be added to the USTR list that already includes notorious IP offenders China and Russia.
